The position


The Project Engineers will be responsible for overseeing the engineering aspects of the project execution. They will be involved in developing method statements, site memos, MOCs (Management of Change), MOMs (Minutes of Meetings), and DPRs (Daily Progress Reports). 

Effective communication between the vessel and the office-based project team is crucial, and the Project Engineers will play a key role in facilitating this communication. They will also be responsible for monitoring the installation process from the bridge of one of our vessels, addressing ad hoc project needs, and promptly responding to inquiries from the project management team. Active participation in meetings with the project team and clients is expected. 

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the engineering aspects during the project execution
  • Develop method statements, site memos, MOCs, MOMs, and DPRs
  • Facilitate communication between the vessel and the office-based project team
  • Monitor the installation process from the vessel's bridge
  • Address ad hoc project needs promptly
  • Respond to inquiries and questions from the project management team
  • Participate actively in meetings with the project team and clients

Requirements:

  • Academic background in Engineering (Offshore, Marine, Mechanical, Civil, or any other relevant engineering field)
  • Previous offshore experience in cable installation
  • Immediate availability to mobilize for the project
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
  • Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in using AutoCAD and MS Office applications

Required certificates:
1. Valid Medical Fitness Certificate (MLC compliant Medical Card, OGUK, or equivalent),
2. Valid Maritime Safety Training Certificate (according to STCW or equivalent, GWO or BOSIET)SoW: Simultaneous Laying and Burial (SLB), ROV support for near-shore activities (SLB & Landing works), Export Cable laying and Inter Array Cable (IAC) Installation & Burial works
